As a child, many special moments were had in my parent’s garden planting seeds and watching as they grew into plants that provided us with nourishment and so much more. Working in the garden was a special part of my childhood, so when I became a mother it was important to teach my daughters how to grow plants.
One winter day I gathered a group of friends, bought succulents and planters for everyone, and we enjoyed brunch, planting, and each other’s company in the sunroom. Later that evening, my husband asked: “how was your day?” I responded with an enthusiastic “how can I share this with others? That was so much fun!”
It brings me joy to teach others the beauty and creative release that planting can bring while cultivating friendships in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere. As a wife of almost 9 years to my husband Brett, and a mother to two beautiful girls, Layla Paige and Mia Grayce, Briggs Hayden. I am blessed to have them and grow with them in life!
